News; Nike Air Force 1 x DJ Clark KentPublished: Thursday 26 November, 2009
We've always associated DJ Clark Kent with the classic and timeless Nike Air Force 1 silhouette. Specificaly, he deals with low tops usually, but here we have a pair of High tops designed by the Air Force 1 afficionado. They sport a premium black leather design on the toebox, midsole, and Nike swoosh. Orange midpanels and blue croc skin accents finish off the designs, along with a dark blue ankle strap. The heel sports the number "0.44-", which is used on not just the outsole, but the entire midsole. This is a number assigned to the rubber compound used to create the sole, which is typically seen on ACG products. Basically, the number .44 was seen before on many Nike products, but to the consumer, it was just a number. So actually .44 as a rubber compound isn't some new technology, but referring to it as 0.44 Sticky Rubber is. |
